Comment from David:
“I started seeing Kyle just over a year ago after a recommendation from staff at Royal North Shore Cardio Rehabilitation. At 46 I had a heart attack which could have cost me my life. This was the biggest shock of my life as I thought I was fit, healthy and indestructible. I was not allowed to train for months after and had put on 11kg of weight. I was nervous about exercising again and not sure how far I could push myself. After starting with Kyle he gave me confidence and showed me that my heart could cope with the exercise program he developed for me.
I have achieved so much with Kyle in a year, he has assisted me in meeting my goal to lose the 11kg and improve my core and whole body strength. I now feel very strong and confident about my training regime. I know Kyle is also confident about this as my workouts are now very intense but extremely rewarding. Thanks Kyle for what you have done for me as a trainer and friend, you have an amazing demeanour and love for your work which allows me to exercise to my full potential.”
Comment from Trainer – Kyle Cox AEP:
“I met Dave over a year ago, when he chose to do a more "personal" rehabilitation following a heart attack. Dave has accomplished what not many others have, in turning his life around and prioritising health and exercise. It's not uncommon for Dave to get 4 or more exercise sessions per week whether it be running on the beach, riding his mountain bike or completing a strength session.
His positive attitude towards change is refreshing and his dedication to exercise has resulted in weight loss, elimination of shoulder and knee pain, improvements in posture and quality of movement and reduction/cessation of heart medications. 12 months on and we are still seeing improvements on a weekly basis due to Dave's hard work and consistency. Keep up the awesome work Dave!
